Over 600,000 U.S. educators have left public education since January of 2020 and 55% of teachers are planning to leave in the “near future”. The pandemic fueled “Great Resignation” left millions wandering in an unfamiliar job wilderness. Although the “Great Resignation” shifted power to the labor force, the process possibly doomed American public education as we know it.
